The Empty Room
Bare tables. Folded chairs stacked against the wall. A ballroom that holds no memory yet — only potential. This is where every Encore event begins: with space, and with intention.

The Consultation
On a linen napkin, a sketch takes shape. The client describes thirty-two years of service, a love of gardenias, a preference for candlelight over chandeliers. We listen before we design.

The Arrival
The truck pulls up. Crates of gardenias. Bolts of champagne-colored silk. Forty votive candles, three custom monogram frames, a hand-lettered seating chart. The room is about to remember its purpose.
The Dressing
Sashes pinned. Spotlights focused. Each centerpiece placed with the precision of a sentence revised one final time. The team works in near-silence — this is craft, not decoration.
The Finished Room
No one has entered yet. The candles are lit. The room holds its breath. In twelve years of designing these evenings, this is still the moment that stops us — the room that exists only for one person.

The Arrival of Guests
A gasp at the threshold. An embrace by the coat check. Someone says "I had no idea it would be this beautiful." That sentence is why we do this work.
The Podium Moment
The honoree stands at the microphone. The room glows behind them. Every drape, every light, every placed stem of gardenia — all of it exists to say: your thirty years mattered. Tonight, we prove it.

Kind Words
The Moment That Stays.
"We've done retirement parties before — catering, a cake, a card. This was something else entirely. Margaret walked in and stopped moving. She just stood there. That silence was worth every dollar."
Deborah Winslow
Executive Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer
Hargrove & Sinclair Capital
"My dad said he didn't want anything. He literally said the words 'please, nothing big.' Encore helped me plan something intimate for twenty-two people that made him cry at the podium. He thanked me for not listening."
